Park Place CEO Chris Adams Shares Vision for Elevated Services and Digital Transformation

December 10, 2019

Today at the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud Strategies Conference in Las Vegas, Park Place Technologies CEO Chris Adams previewed his vision for the future of datacenter management and for Park Place.

While hybrid environments continue to dominate cloud computing, with more than 90 percent of companies surveyed in Altman Vilandrie & Company Cloud Migration Survey saying they have a hybrid set-up, a healthy 40 percent also admitted migrating specific workloads/applications away from public cloud. To monitor this situation requires a single solution that provides complete, cross-platform transparency.

“Our customers have expressed their desire for a more strategic approach to maintaining both their physical and virtual infrastructures,” Adams said in his presentation on stage. “A new approach that prioritizes cost-efficiency, agility and insights through automation and analytics can serve as more of a strategic business asset.”

A simplified yet comprehensive approach that can be viewed in a single pane of glass, the new category of services extend up the technology stack to support hardware, operating systems, networks, databases, applications, IT data analytics and cloud. An approach that will Discover, Monitor, Support and Optimize delivers real-time visibility across all monitored assets, associated events and performance and metrics. Collectively, these services will provide the essential business agility to compete and win in today’s economy.

“Customers want to experience a digital infrastructure that is easier to manage, more agile and better able to respond to business needs, while also delivering greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness in the process,” Adams said.
