Place Technologies is taking proactive steps to prepare clients impacted by California’s wildfire and power outages.

Associated Press reports the California wildfires have burned over 1 million acres with more than 13,000 firefighters working the fires. Two fires — the 347,630 -acre LNU Lightning Complex Fire in the northern Bay Area and Central Valley, and the 343,965 acre-acre SCU Lightning Complex Fire largely east of San Jose — are among the state’s three largest wildfires in recorded history. Lake, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties have been declared Presidential Major Disaster Areas. A shift in the weather on Monday, Aug. 24, is expected to bring unpredictable winds, more sizzling temperatures and potential lightning strikes that could ignite new wildfires across the state.
