April 09, 2019

CLEVELAND, OH, April 9, 2019 — Park Place Technologies is taking proactive steps to serve clients who may be impacted by the record snowfall, cold temperatures and wind chills of the season’s second “Bomb Cyclone,” (Winter Storm Wesley) an intense winter storm that could bring hurricane-strength winds, blizzard conditions and floods to the U.S. heartland.

According to the Weather Channel:

  • An intense winter storm will develop in the Plains by Wednesday.
  • Heavy snow is likely in parts of the Plains and upper Midwest.
  • Blizzard warnings have been issued in the Plains from Wednesday into early Friday.
  • This includes areas still dealing with flooding, including parts of the Missouri Valley.

Park Place has set up a Command Center in Marlboro, Mass., that is ready to deploy whatever resources clients need. Clients will have immediate access to our supply chain, tech support, field team and suppliers. Our entire field team is on “high alert” and will be ready to deploy in the areas most impacted.

Park Place has been reaching out to critical end-users such as hospitals to ensure they are ready to engage us if they are hit hard.

Park Place has identified customers who could be impacted and has moved additional material into the potential impacted regions. Field Engineers are planning for the worst and hoping for the best.  We are also putting our complete Staff on high alert making sure they are ready to deploy.
