Alert: Support During Bomb Cyclone

Park Place Technologies is taking proactive steps to prepare US East Coast clients for a bomb cyclone. A system with the equivalent low pressure of a Category 1 hurricane could impact 14 states stretching from the Appalachians in North Carolina all the way through Maine. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a flash flood watch for about 7 million people in the Northeast and a wind advisory for more than 60 million people. NWS reports, “Winds could reach tropical-storm force (39 mph+) with even higher gusts by Wednesday and Thursday for places such as New York City, Boston and Portland, Maine.”

Park Place has set up a Command Center in Marlboro, Mass., that is ready to deploy whatever resources clients need. Clients will have immediate access to our supply chain, tech support, field team and suppliers. Our East Coast region field team is on “high alert” and will be ready to deploy in the areas most impacted.

By preparing for potential weather-related interruptions of service, Park Place is proactively investing in the uptime and peace of mind of our clients.
