The NetApp FAS2020 filer offers the most affordable platform ideal for value orientated storage deployments. The NetApp FAS2020 will reach end of support life with NetApp as of June 30, 2017. Customers should have plans in place for the long-term maintenance of this filer.

SMEs that are not interested in finding a replacement for the 40 drive expansion capability and resulting 24TB of storage of the FAS2020 can benefit from alternative IT storage maintenance solutions. When the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) will no longer service a given product, there are third party hardware maintenance providers that can step in to take on this role.
