As General Manager of Professional Services, Hal is responsible for managing and expanding Park Place Technologies’ professional services $35 million global portfolio, driving professional services sales, and the successful delivery of professional services engagements for both channel and direct customers globally.
During Hal’s 12 years here at Park Place Technologies, he spent the first 10 managing their Global Service Operations, responsible for service delivery, engineering, and support center operations. For the past 2 years Hal has served as Chief of Staff for President/CEO, Chris Adams. Hal has been a strategic leader with a focus on providing the highest level of customer satisfaction across the globe for our 21,000+ Park Place customers.
Before joining Park Place Technologies, Hal built the service delivery arm for Data General’s Professional Services Network Practice, which generated $30 million in revenue in the first 18 months of operations. Hal’s next assignment was Global Operations Director for Professional Services. He also worked at EMC within their Professional Services division, where he created their Global Network Services organization, which was responsible for delivering assessment services for their Network Attached Storage products. Hal’s next role was managing EMC’s Global CLARiiON technical support division, where he provided world class support to customers around the globe.
After hours, Hal enjoys spending time with family, supporting his hometown Chicago sports teams, and listening to rock & roll music. He is also a performance car enthusiast. Hal earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Workforce Education and Human Resource Development at Southern Illinois University.
