CCO John Stock Named to Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40 List

Congratulations to John Stock, Chief Commercial Officer at Park Place Technologies, for being named to Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40. John’s career journey is truly inspiring. Since graduating from Baldwin Wallace University in 2010, he’s dedicated his entire professional life to Park Place Technologies, starting in an entry-level sales role and working his way up to the C-suite.

“I didn’t know anything about IT or even if sales was the right career fit for me,” Stock said. “… I focused on a lot of the intangible qualities, being driven and making up for my lack of skill, potentially with my work ethic, and have the mentality that I’m going to try to outwork every single person in the room.”

Today, his motivation has shifted from personal goals to family and helping others succeed. “The biggest thing I take away is the fact that I’m able to help impact other people’s lives within the company,” he said. “There’s nothing I like better than having people achieve their goals, whether it be in the office or outside the office. But I love people development.”

John credits Park Place’s results-driven, collaborative culture for accelerating his growth.
