Park Place Technologies Awarded Healthy Ohio’s Healthy Worksite Award

Park Place Technologies has been awarded the 2014 Healthy Worksite award from Healthy Ohio and placed in the Gold Award category for medium sized businesses. Park Place Technologies was among 45 other Ohio employers that promote a healthy lifestyle.

“Employee health and wellness efforts result in major benefits for both employer and employee,” Helene Szczerba, chair of HOBC said. “Positive returns on investment are realized in employees who improve their health resulting in decreased rates of absenteeism and increased productivity.  Employers also realize reductions in health care costs and an overall increase in productivity and job satisfaction.”

Park Place Technologies recently moved their global headquarters to Mayfield Heights, Ohio in 2014. With the move, Park Place Technologies installed a 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness center for its employees to use. The company regularly promotes healthy changes such as providing employees with a FitBit and becoming a sponsor for the Cleveland Marathon in which employees participate in training groups.
