HP P4000 G2 storage systems have reached End of Life and End of Sale

 

As of April 30, 2015, HP announced the HP P4300 G2 end of life and HP Lefthand P4500 G2 end of life, meaning these models have reached their End of Sale for hardware upgrades.  End of Software Upgrades for new LeftHand OS versions has also been reached for the HP P4300 and P4500 G2 models according to the HPE EOL data. The next milestone for these LeftHand models will be April 30, 2018 when the storage equipment will reach end of engineering support.

Below are the milestones HP P4300 and P4500 G2 LeftHand models:

  • April 30, 2013: End of life announcement and discontinuance of HP P4300 and HP P4500 G2 LeftHand models
  • May 31, 2013: Obsolescence  (orders no longer accepted) for P4300 and  P4500 G2 LeftHand models
  • April 30, 2015: End of sale and end of software upgrades for P4300 and P4500 G2 LeftHand models
  • April 30, 2018: End of engineering support for P4300 and P4500 G2 LeftHand models
