Ed has been with Park Place Technologies since 2004. He brings nearly three decades of experience from EMC, Data General, Wang Laboratories, and Honeywell Bull. Ed remade Park Place Technologies into the world-class service organization it is today. With the shift of reseller to service provider to multi-service provider, Park Place is known around the world for our Service First philosophy, focusing on our core competencies and values to drive best-in-class hardware maintenance.
Ed’s passion for service began early in his career and he’s dedicated his professional life to exceptional service delivery. He prides himself in the personal connections that he’s made to employees, customers, and business partners. Leading a world class, highly performing company is a result of the ways that Ed fosters connections with people, lives and shares his core values. Ed’s achievements have been globally recognized through multiple stages of his career. Most recently, 5 years running as a Great Workplace for Top Talent, a Crain’s Healthiest Employer, a Cool Tech 25 Top Workplace for Technical Talent, CWRU’s Weatherhead 100, Inc. Magazine’s 5000 Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies, and successive years as an E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
In his free time, Ed makes a priority of spending time with his family. He’s enjoyed his role as a father, spending time with his children, and celebrating their personal and career successes. He also makes time to play golf and travel around the world with his wife of 30 years.
Ed earned his BSBA in Marketing from Boston College School of Management. Following graduation, Ed played professional hockey for 4 years and was subsequently inducted into Boston College’s Sports Hall of Fame.
