CLEVELAND, OH, DEC. 6— Park Place Technologies is quickly reacting to serve clients in Ireland who may be impacted by Storm BARRA.Barra is expected to make hit Ireland approx. 03:00 LT Dec. 7. It is expected that businesses and homes will lose power. 80 mph winds are expected.Park Place has set up a Command Center in Westborough, Mass., that is ready to deploy whatever resources clients need. Clients will have immediate access to our supply chain, tech support, field team and suppliers. Our entire field team is on “high alert” and will be ready to deploy in the areas most impacted.Park Place has been reaching out to critical end-users such as hospitals to ensure they are ready to engage us if they are hit hard.Park Place has identified customers who could be impacted and has moved additional material into the potential impacted regions. Field Engineers are planning for the worst and hoping for the best. We are also putting our complete Staff on high alert making sure they are ready to deploy.Park Place has employed this proactive approach for such recent challenges as Winter Storm Harper, wildfires in California and Hurricanes Elsa, Grace and Henri. Nicola is a native of Ireland. She attended University College Cork for a Bachelors degree in Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering, and Brandeis University for a Masters degree in Program Management. Nicola currently resides in Massachusetts with her husband, daughter and son.
