The $3.5 million renovation project increases access to cutting-edge workplace solutions on the heels of global growth and expansion

CLEVELAND, OH – Park Place Technologies, the global leader in storage, server, and networking hardware maintenance, has completed a $3.5 million renovation of its Mayfield Heights, Ohio headquarters. The new amenities and technologies installed as part of this renovation offer a modernized, engaging environment for employees and customers. The project, conducted with leading design and architecture firm Vocon, provides employees and customers with new meeting and workspaces along with productivity and wellness enhancements to augment the company’s ability to deliver on its employee promise.

At the core of the project is the UpTime Café, a coffeehouse and market that uses the latest identification and payment technology, enabling employees to purchase items through an advanced thumbprint scan payment system 24 hours a day. The UpTime Café is staffed with a full-time barista, offering employees and visitors coffee and smoothie drinks. A new multi-purpose fitness room – augmenting the headquarters’ existing workout facility – offers yoga and exercise classes along with remodeled locker rooms and showers. Additional enhancements include state-of-the-art audio-visual and video conferencing capabilities in all meeting rooms and in-house catering available for all meetings.

“Our employees and customers are the lifeblood of Park Place Technologies and we believe this investment in our headquarters will enable more productive and satisfying work experiences for all of our employees and visitors alike,” said Chris Adams, Chief Executive Officer and President of Park Place Technologies. “This project is one of several initiatives aimed at keeping our communities engaged as we continue to expand our forward-thinking approach to enterprise technology.”

The last twelve months have been transformative for Park Place Technologies. The company acquired several companies as part of its aggressive growth strategy, including MCSA Group Limited, based in the United Kingdom, CMG-Nicsa based in Latin America, and Solid Systems CAD Services (SSCS) based in Houston, Texas. The company also expanded its global operations footprint with new locations in Singapore and Cork, Ireland to support APAC and EMEA, respectively.

Amidst this expansion, Park Place Technologies has maintained its investment in its employees. It has established several employee-led committees that, with executive leadership support, contribute to the company’s future direction and activate on desired projects encompassing culture, wellness, philanthropy, merit, and the promotion of STEM programming (science, technology, engineering, and math).
