In November 2018, Park Place Technologies opened its EMEA Operations Centre in Cork, Ireland., with Park Place making the commitment to invest in the creation of 70 new tech jobs within two years of the opening of the Operations Centre. This new investment is supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.

IDA Ireland encourages Foreign Direct Investment into Ireland through a wide range of services. They partner with potential and existing investors to help them establish or expand their operations in Ireland.

“The primary attraction to opening this Operations Centre in Cork, aside from the geopolitical positioning in EMEA, is the access to the talent profile needed to support our ongoing growth,” said Nicola Buckley, Executive Vice President, Global Service Delivery for Park Place, who is an Irish native and graduate of University College Cork (UCC).  “We have received great assistance from the Irish Government with on-the-ground facilitation including assistance with facility sourcing, creating networks locally, and public relations.”
