February 12, 2019 — Park Place Technologies is taking proactive steps to serve clients who may be impacted by the “expansive chaos” of Winter Storm Maya.
According to the Weather Channel:
- Maya will hammer the Midwest and Northeast, and parts of Canada, through Wednesday.
- Heavy snow and strong winds will impact the upper Midwest.
- Accumulating ice will slicken roads and may trigger power outages and tree damage.
- Parts of the Interstate 95 corridor in the Northeast will see a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain before changing to rain.
Park Place has set up a Command Center in Marlboro, Mass., that is ready to deploy whatever resources clients need. Clients will have immediate access to our supply chain, tech support, field team and suppliers. Our entire field team is on “high alert” and will be ready to deploy in the areas most impacted.
Park Place has been reaching out to critical end-users such as hospitals to ensure they are ready to engage us if they are hit hard.
