Park Place’s Betsy Dellinger recognized by National Women in Law Awards
August 30, 2018
CLEVELAND, OH, August 30, 2018 — Betsy Dellinger, Park Place Technologies’ Vice President and General Counsel, has been chosen by Corporate Counsel and InsideCounsel as an honoree for the 2018 National Women in Law Awards. These awards honor general counsel, in-house leaders and law firm partners who have demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law.
“The awards spotlight North American women in-house and law firm leaders who have demonstrated extraordinary leadership and business acumen as they have guided their organizations through often treacherous roads to achieve success,” according to the Law.com website. “These women stand out because they are business strategists, complex problem-solvers, and of course, great lawyers. And as important (especially to them) is that they are great people-leaders — they care more about the success of the team than their individual success.”
As Vice President and General Counsel, Betsy brings nearly 30 years of business law experience to Park Place Technologies. Supporting the growth of Park Place, Betsy leads a team that provides legal support to our sales group worldwide and serves as an important contributor to our focused acquisitions and strategic initiatives teams. She also oversees compliance and risk management for the company globally.
Betsy’s legal career includes over 20 years in private practice as a corporate law partner at Benesch Friedlander and Baker Hostetler in Cleveland, Ohio, as well as in-house business and legal experience for entrepreneurial PE-funded businesses.
Betsy has served as an adjunct instructor in the MBA program at Baldwin Wallace University and is the in-coming Chairman of the Board of Julie Billiart School in Lyndhurst, a standard-setting K-8 program for children with autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia and other learning difficulties.
Betsy is an outdoors advocate, a graduate of Kenyon College and Case Western Reserve Law School and the parent of two teenage sons.
