Deeper Network Control

Network Device Auto Discovery

Entuity’s Auto Discovery tool saves you time and gives you peace of mind that everything on your network is accounted for.

  • Complete deployments in a streamlined manner.
  • Gain visibility of new devices straight away.
  • Avoid costly information gaps and performance-affecting faults arising through obsolete inventory information.

Understand your network changes

Entuity’s snapshot functionality allows you to manually create or schedule snapshots of your network’s device inventory (on a View basis, not for the entire inventory), which can then be used in reports that compare any two of these snapshots and identify the changes. Schedule both snapshots and reporting to remove manual labor from the process of keeping tabs on how your network is changing in an increasingly dynamic environment.

Import or add custom devices

Entuity further allows you to import devices from device files. These can be imported in the SNMP v1, v2c and v3 formats. Or you can add a custom device type that represents a device ENA is not managing, but you want to be represented within ENA. The flexibility available across our solution starts with helping you discover every device and stay up-to-date across your network.

What is your network hiding?

Uncover your Network Topology

Visualize your network like never before

Entuity’s topology map shows the network health of each site, location or office you are managing, anywhere in the world. Be visually notified on the map when incidents such as network outages occur. Then drill down further into a location to see layer 2 and 3 connectivity, links, devices and ports, all overlaid and positioned on a floor plan.

See problems quickly

Entuity network mapping software can show port-level, incident-severity information, quickly showing the location of an issue. Custom nodes allow non-managed devices and clouds to be represented. Manual topology information can also be updated directly from within a map.

Consolidate servers into one network map

Topology information from multiple servers can be consolidated into a single topology map. Device connectivity, and event and incident information from devices managed on different servers, is all fully consolidated. Together with the multi-level map capability, global maps can be viewed in an instant.

Your Networks Single Pane of Glass

Entuity consolidates all core network management functionality into one solution, with a single-user interface. We’ve put all device management and administration options together on the Device Inventory page, where you can discover, import and add devices, modify the attributes used to manage them, or remove them from management.

You need a tool that does more than simply pinging a device to determine its status – Entuity Network Analytics gives you quick accessibility and deep visibility into your network devices. Access is permission-based, so you can specify who can edit device management.

Important Device Information at a glance on Device Inventory Page

  • Device name displayed in the interface
  • Polled Name (inc IP address)
  • Description
  • Device Location
  • Capabilities, e.g. routing, routing and switching, none, unknown
  • Device Type, e.g. router, VM platform
  • Management Level
  • IP protocol
  • SNMP version supported by the device
  • Port on which the device’s SNMP agent receives its requests
